About

Hello, and welcome to my blog!

I’m Anna, a proud mum of two energetic boys and an enthusiastic educator with a deep passion for improving the lives of children with Special Needs.

With a rich background in both mainstream and special education and extensive experience in healthcare working with individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, ADHD, and mental health challenges, I’ve dedicated my life to supporting those who need it most.

I’m currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Psychology and Learning Disability, building on my BA in Education Studies from a UK university.

My academic journey has taken me across the globe, studying Psychology in New York and Mexico, which has broadened my perspective and enriched my understanding of diverse educational and psychological landscapes.

Throughout my career, I’ve completed numerous courses on Autism, ADHD, Supporting Learning, Child Care, Neuroscience in Education, Mental Health, and Health and Social Care.

Each course has deepened my knowledge and equipped me with the skills to better support and advocate for children and individuals with Special Needs.

What truly drives me is the opportunity to give a voice to those who are often unheard or unable to express themselves.

Through this blog, I’m excited to share the latest research findings, valuable knowledge, and insights from my personal and professional experiences.

Whether you’re a parent, educator, or simply someone interested in the field, I hope you find this space inspiring and informative.

I want to share with you all I know and have discovered so you can support your child or the children you care for or teach.

Having worked with children with Special Needs, including Autism and ADHD, I have realised that parents could be empowered and supported more in caring for their children if they knew more.

Likewise, teachers, teaching assistants and other professionals can open more doors for children with special needs.

Luckily, knowledge and research are no longer exclusive to a small group of people.

With the Internet and blogs like the one you are visiting, we can all get to know more, educate ourselves and discover how to help and support children better.

I would love to meet you and hear your story or questions!

Thank you for visiting my blog!
